Comparing the 3 different Weightloss options
Comparing the 3 different Weightloss options
We understand that there is no 1 size fits all approach, and you should consider the following when deciding which is right for you:
How much weight you have to lose - If you have more weight to lose, Trim and Reignite might be better options for you (as shown in clinical trials)
Costs - Slim is the cheapest option, but all products increase in price as you increase doses. Most people (about 95%) will need to increase beyond the starting dose to see continued weight loss.
Potential side effects - some medications have more frequently reported side effects than others. It's impossible to know how the medication will affect you, but most people find side effects uncomfortable but manageable.
If food noise and cravings are something you wish to combat with the medication - some medications are better at reducing food noise than others. Trim has shown the strongest suppression while Reta users report that this effect is not very strong.
If you have used weightloss medication before - it's frequently reported that when re-starting medication, the strong effects you may have felt last time only come from reaching higer doses. Our bodies do build a tolerance to the medication over time, so you may need to progress to a higher dose to see continued benefits.
Of course, it's also worth discussing with your medical professional that knows your personal medical history and any medical reasons these products may not be appropriate for you.
Wegovy & Ozempic are both Semaglutide, which we sell under the name Slim.
Mounjaro is Tirzepatide, which we sell under the name Trim.
Reta is Retatrutide, which we sell under the name Reignite.
Clinical data shows a clear hierarchy:
Semaglutide (Sema): ~10–15% average weight loss
Tirzepatide (Tirz): ~15–22% average weight loss
Retatrutide (Reta): ~20–25%+ average weight loss (early trial data)
👉 Retatrutide currently shows the highest % weight loss, followed by Tirzepatide, then Semaglutide.
Keep in mind:
the results quoted above were from participants that followed the typical dosage escalation protocol. That is, every 4 weeks they increased dose until they reached the highest dose. If you do not also increase dose, you should not expect to achieve such high results. Some people prefer the low and slow approach, and keep their doses low (mainly to save money) which is fine, but please realise that this means your weightloss rate may also be slowed.
results vary based on dose, consistency, lifestyle, and individual response - so the “best” option can differ person to person.
In Reta trials especially, very few participants saw consistent weightloss below 8mg/week
You should start on a dose no higher than 0.25mg/week to allow your body to get used to the effects of the medication. The typical dosing escalation pathway for Slim (semaglutide) is:
0.25mg/week - starting dose to minimise side effects. Unlikely to see weightloss at this dose.
0.5mg/week
1mg/week
1.7mg/week
2.4mg/week
(recently approved in the UK) 7.2mg/week
A dose of 1mg/week and higher is considered a therapeutic dose - that is, a dose where the medication should be inducing continued and sustained weightloss in most individuals.
You should start on a dose no higher than 2.5mg/week to allow your body to get used to the effects of the medication. The typical dosing escalation pathway for Trim (tirzepatide) is:
2.5mg/week -starting dose to minimise side effects. May see little to no weightloss at this dose.
5mg/week
7.5mg/week
10mg/week
12.5mg/week
15mg/week
Some people find the jump from 2.5mg to 5mg/week a bit of a challenge with side effects and have found better success going from 2.5mg > 3.75 >5mg over time instead.
A dose of 5mg/week and higher is considered a therapeutic dose - that is, a dose where the medication should be inducing continued and sustained weightloss in most individuals.
You should start on a dose no higher than 2mg/week to allow your body to get used to the effects of the medication. The typical dosing escalation pathway for Reignite (Retatrutide) is:
2mg/week
4mg/week
6mg/week
8mg/week
10mg/week
12mg/week
A dose of 8mg/week and higher is considered a therapeutic dose - that is, a dose where the medication should be inducing continued and sustained weightloss in most individuals.

You should only increase your dose when your body is ready for it - not just because time has passed.
✅ Stay at your current dose if:
Your appetite and cravings well controlled
You’re still losing weight steadily (a safe weight loss is 500g/week, when averaged over a 4 week period)
Side effects are still quite strong (don't increase if you're still getting strong side effects, it will likely only get worse)
👉 If it’s working, there’s no rush to go up.
⬆️ Consider increasing your dose if:
Hunger and cravings are coming back too strong for you to manage
Weight loss has stalled for 4 weeks or more (a couple of weeks is not a stall, it's normal to have weeks where the scale doesn't move, and even some weeks you gain. Weightloss is never linear).
You feel like the effect has worn off between doses
You’re tolerating your current dose without side effects
Most people increase every 4 weeks, but this isn’t a rule - it’s just a guide. This is because after 4 weeks at a continuous dose, the medication has reached a steady state.
More isn’t always better. The goal is to find your lowest effective dose - the one that gives you results with the least side effects.
If you’re unsure, it’s always safest to hold your dose a bit longer rather than rushing up too quickly.
You’re not chasing the highest dose - you’re building something sustainable ✨
This is a really important piece most people don’t realise
These medications don’t fully “kick in” from a single injection. They have a cumulative effect, meaning each dose adds to what’s already in your system.
Because they have a long half-life (around ~5–7 days), your body still has some medication from your previous dose when you take your next one.
👉 So week by week, levels gradually build and stabilise.
The full effect of a dose isn’t immediate - it can take 2–4 weeks to truly feel it
Appetite suppression and weight loss often improve over time, even without increasing
What feels “mild” in week 1 can feel much stronger by week 3–4
If you increase your dose too soon, you’re not just increasing that week’s dose - you’re stacking on top of what’s already building in your body.
This can lead to:
Sudden strong side effects (nausea, fatigue, etc.)
Feeling over-suppressed (no appetite at all)
Having to drop your dose back down
Give each dose time to fully settle and show its effect before deciding it’s “not enough.”
In simple terms:
👉 What you feel today isn’t just today’s dose, it’s the result of the last few weeks combined.
That’s why patience here = better results, fewer side effects, and a much smoother journey ✨
This is totally normal and honestly, the first month isn’t always where the magic happens. We know you want to see 'something' happening for all the money you've spent and pain you have endured (needles, ouch!), but it's not about quick results with these medications.
In the first few weeks, your body is getting used to the medication. Levels are still building (it’s cumulative, see earlier questions), and most people are on a low starter dose, which is designed for tolerance - not maximum results.
You might notice:
Less hunger
Smaller portions
Fewer cravings
But the scale doesn’t always move straight away - your body can take a few weeks to respond.
Early on, things like fluid retention, hormones, sleep, stress, and diet changes can mask fat loss on the scale. This is why it's so important to have more measures of success than just your scales.
Most people start to see more noticeable weight loss around weeks 4–8 (Slim 7 Trim) and Weeks 9-12 (Reignite), especially as:
The medication builds in your system
Doses are gradually increased (if needed)
Habits start to align with reduced appetite
We have seen some customers quit and give up after just 4 weeks, declaring the medication 'isn't working for them'. These medications do work for 98% of people that follow consistent, sustained use. But we would suggest you trust the process and focus on:
Consistency with dosing
Listening to your hunger cues
Keeping meals balanced (protein helps a lot) and in a calorie deficit
Ensuring high enough water intake (3L a day is the goal)
Introducing gentle movement
Reviewing the clinical trial data for your medication, to see if your expectations align with results the medication has been shown to achieve.
👉 You’re not “failing”- you’re in the setup phase.
Stick with it. This is where your body is laying the groundwork for results that actually last.
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is a lab report that verifies what’s inside a product. It confirms key details like identity, purity and concentration, so you can see exactly what’s in the vial. Some COAs are provided by our manufacturers, while others come from Aussie-based and overseas independent testing centers for additional verification.
To find the COA that matches your product, identify:
Product Name (eg. Slim, Trim, Reignite)
Vial size (eg. 10mg, 20mg etc)
Cap colour (the flip off cap that is on the top of your vial)
We are still adding to this section so you may not see your COA just yet - send us an email if you require a certain one.
