💧 Why do you need to reconstitute?
You’ll notice your product comes as lyophilised (freeze dried) powder - not pre-mixed. That’s deliberate. Pre-mixed vials don’t last long in transit or storage. Powder form keeps it stable and effective for months. Once you add water, the clock starts ticking, so we let you decide when it’s time to activate it.
💧 What is reconstitution?
To be able to use your medication, you’re going to combine it with bacteriostatic water (bac water), a process known as reconstitution. All orders come with 1 vial of 3ml of bacteriostatic water automatically included, and detailed instructions so you know what you're doing. This then creates the liquid that you will inject.
💧 What steps are involved in reconstitution?
Reconstitution sounds fancy, but it’s really simple when you break it down. We have included detailed step by step instructions in your package (and these are further below also), but the steps are:
Prep and gather your supplies, sanitise hands and benchtops, remove caps off vials
Draw up the required bac water into your syringe
Add bac water into the medication vial with syringe, and gently swirl the contents to allow the powder to dissolve
Let it sit for a few minutes so it's fully dissolved, then your medication is ready to use straight away.
The first time you do this it can feel a bit tricky, but you really will get the hang of it.

✨ Bonus Tips for Reconstitution
Let the reconstituted vial sit for 5 mins before use so that any bubbles dissipate (they’re normal)
There is no ‘correct’ amount of bac water to add to your vial - it simply changes the concentration of the medication in the water. As you add more water, the concentration of medication to water simply changes. So if you accidentally added too much water, that's no problem. You can contact us if you get stuck.
Some people like to reconstitute at night, and leave the product to rest in the fridge overnight so it's completely dissolved.
Looks like it's not quite dissolved yet? It sometimes happens. Roll it gently between your hands to agitate the product with the water. Leave it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes and it should be good to go.

Important Note: instructions are different for each product and vial size
Each product and vial size has its own mixing instructions, so please make sure you’re following the guide for the exact product you ordered. If you're not sure, please contact us.
The reason for this is concentration. Higher-strength vials contain more medication, but we usually add the same amount of bacteriostatic water so the injection volume stays small and comfortable.
For example, you might add 200 units of water to a 10mg vial and also 200 units to a 60mg vial. Because the second vial contains more medication but the same amount of water, it becomes more concentrated.
In simple terms, higher-dose vials contain more medication in the same amount of liquid, so the mixing instructions and dosing amounts will be different.

✨ Storing your Peptides after Reconstitution
Your reconstituted vial is delicate - refrigerate immediately at 2–8 °C at the rear of your fridge. The fridge door opens and closes often and will give a variable temperature.
Store upright, not laying on it's side
Don’t freeze, don’t leave out at room temperature.
Once mixed, shelf life is approx. 90 days (when mixed with bac water, sterile protocols are followed using alcohol wipes and stored in a fridge)
✨ Bonus Video: Getting the last dose out of a vial
It's important to measure each dose for injection very carefully, and not take too much. Even just 2 units extra can add up over a month.
If you get to the last dose in your vial, and it seems like it's not quite a full dose left, this could have happened for a few possible reasons:
You accidentally put in slightly less than the required units at the start. Eg. only 98 units (instead of 100) would mean you're already a little short.
You accidentally took a couple more units each dose - even 2 units extra (1 additional line on syringe) will mean you've lost 6 units over 3 doses
The last few units can pool around the grey rubber vial stopper. Then, if you stick the syringe in quite far, you could then be above the point where the liquid is pooling.
(Very rare) if the vial was stored on it's side some liquid can leak, but its very rare because you've got the grey rubber stopper on the top of the vial to prevent that happening.
In actuality, it's usually a combination of 1, 2 & 3. The same number of units you put into the vial should be there to draw back out again (it can't just disappear). I would suggest that you follow some of these tips in these couple of videos which show how to get the last remaining bits out of a vial, as this should help you.
