Let’s set this up properly - because knowing what’s normal will keep you confident, consistent, and on track.
These medications are powerful… but they’re not instant. We'll be real, you may not lose any weight in the first week, or even the first month with Reignite.
The medications work by building in your system over time, and results follow that same pattern.
👉 Think weeks → months, not days.
The following is a timeline that most people experience when taking Slim and Trim (Reignite follows a different timeline, see further below):
MONTH 1 (Slim 0.25mg/week / Trim 2.5mg/week)
The purpose of the starting dose of the medication is to allow your body to get used to the medication, and is not considered a therapeutic dose (ie. when you can expect to see big results)
Appetite starting to reduce
Feeling fuller sooner
Scale may or may not move yet
MONTHS 2-3 (Slim 0.5-1mg/week / Trim 5-7.5mg/week)
Moving beyond the starting dose is typical at this point, to increase the effect of the medication and continue to see results. It is at these levels that it is considered a therapeutic dose (ie. a point at which some people begin to see consistent results)
More consistent appetite control
Noticeable weight loss begins
Habits feel easier to stick to
MONTHS 4-6 (Slim 1-2.4mg/week / Trim 7.5-15mg/week)
Once you have found a dose that is resulting in consistent and steady weightloss then this should be maintained. If the effect of the medication begins to wane, it is advised to follow the typical dose escalation schedule.
Steady, meaningful weight loss
Clothes fitting differently
More control, less effort
👉 The key: consistency + dose progression
This is important. These medications are designed to be titrated (gradually increased).
Why?
Your body adapts over time
Receptors become less sensitive at the same dose (this is not a personal weakness, it's just science)
A higher dose helps maintain the effect
👉 That’s why most people need to increase their dose to keep progressing.
This isn’t a bad thing - it’s how the medication is meant to work.
💡 Staying too low for too long = slower or stalled results
💡 Increasing appropriately = continued progress
The golden rule here is 'if it's working, stick with the dose. If it's no longer working, it may be time to go up'.
Clinical Trial results:
~10–15% average weight loss
Achieved over ~68 weeks in trials
What this looked like in studies:
Patients followed a structured dose increase up to 2.4mg weekly
Results improved as doses increased. Again, don't be afraid to increase dose if your results stall. There's no point paying money to stay on a low dose if you're not getting any results.
What to expect:
Slower, steady progress
Appetite reduction builds over time
Often requires dose increases to maintain momentum
👉 Slim works well - but patience and titration are key.
Clinical results:
~15–22% average weight loss
Achieved over ~72 weeks (about 18 months)
What this looked like in studies:
Gradual increases up to 10–15mg weekly
Higher doses = greater results
What to expect:
Strong appetite suppression (usually from 5-7.5mg upwards)
Faster and more noticeable weight loss vs Slim
Most people progress through multiple dose levels. They may stay at 2.5mg/week for 1-2 months before moving up.
👉 Trim is more potent, but still relies on proper dose progression.
Clinical results (early trials):
~20–25%+ average weight loss, some participants achieved even higher
Results were achieved over about an 11 month period
What this looked like in studies:
Most participants didn't lose any weight in the first 8 weeks
Most weightloss happened after reaching a dose of 8mg/week or higher
Carefully increased doses over time, starting at 2mg/week up to 12mg/week (highest dose)
Effects continued to improve at higher doses
What to expect:
Very strong appetite suppression after 8mg/week
Continued fat loss as dose increases
👉 Reta shows the highest potential, but still follows the same rule: build up gradually.
Some people will experience side effects, especially when:
Starting (that's why we start low)
Increasing dose
Most common are:
Nausea
Fatigue
Mild digestive changes (eg. constipation, diarrhea)
👉 The good news:
These are usually temporary and manageable
Your body often adjusts over time, especially if you stay at a dose for longer
Serious side effects are rare - especially when dosing is increased properly and not rushed. If you suspect you have serious side effects you should seek urgent medical attention.
You’re not chasing the highest dose - you’re finding your effective dose.
But don’t be afraid to increase when needed.
Results come from stacking consistency over time.
Results build - they don’t happen overnight
Dose increases are part of the process
Most people need to move up to keep progressing
The best results come from patience + consistency
Stick with it. Remember, those amazing % bodyweight results achieved in trials happened over very long time periods. It's not a quick fix.
Adjust when needed.
Trust the process.
Because this works - when you give it time ✨
